From the moment you walk in the old school barber shop captivates you with its wonderful aroma and atmosphere.

Doesn't that already sound like the best man-day ever.

With fully reclinable antique feel chairs you settle right back into the 50s in seconds. As you look around you start to notice things like the large deer head over looking the shop floor and that the antique crank phone legitimately works.

Its the small things that make a huge difference like the barbers sliding from one side of the shop to the other rather than walking or that they are all dressed the part.

The music was perfect too!!

Then came the shave itself… I've never seen a person take so many steps just to shave… Serum, towel face wrap, shaving cream (applied twice), a nice close shave, more towel wraps and finally some aftershave. 

Oh what an experience it made we wish I was a man.

All in all I still enjoyed it never the less and so did my man.
